I was looking at some old pictures and I came across this one from a trip to New York. This was our view while at the Soho Grand. It was taken on July 31, 2001. Someone was probably in that room on September 11th. I can't imagine the horror of watching everything unfold before my eyes. It was hard enough on TV.
